Warranty and refund policy

The Langlois Guarantee

This document attests that every diamond or gemstone is genuine and of superior quality.

This guarantee also confirms that the described jewelry is made of 10K, 14K, 18K gold, or platinum, and that every diamond or gemstone has been carefully set by experts.

Langlois Jewelry commits to replacing any diamond or gemstone lost due to a manufacturing defect or malformation for a period of one year.

Under no circumstances can Langlois Jewelry be held responsible for the loss of a diamond or gemstone due to premature wear of the prongs ("Paws" holding the gemstones) resulting from improper use of said jewelry. For example: Gardening with an engagement ring, which seems obvious...

This certifies that the quality of the jewelry is stamped in accordance with the laws and regulations issued by the Government of Canada.

Refund Policy

Three scenarios are possible within the framework of our refund policy.

Under no circumstances should the jewelry in question have been worn.

Beyond 30 days, no refund will be issued by us.

We reserve the right to inspect the jewelry before each refund to determine if it has been worn, and we will be uncompromising on this point.

Jewelry purchased directly in-store:

The store policy states that no refunds are allowed for purchases made directly in-store. Only an exchange or a credit note is possible once the purchase is completed or when depositing for a layaway, within 30 days from the date of purchase or the first transaction in the case of a layaway.

Jewelry purchased online:

In the case of an online order, our refund policies are more flexible.

Indeed, since you were not able to see the jewelry with your own eyes, we understand that you may not be satisfied with your item upon receipt.

For a purchase on our website, you have a 30-day period from the delivery date to request a refund.

Types of refunds for an online purchase:

  • Full refund of the ordered jewelry under two conditions: 1 - The jewelry has not been worn; 2 - You are within the 30-day period from the delivery date.

  • A credit note for the amount of your order is issued to choose another piece of jewelry from our collection.

Special order, custom-made jewelry: In the case of a special order and/or custom-made jewelry, including any type of family jewelry, or when a modification has been made to a piece of jewelry (including resizing or engraving), no refund or exchange is possible.

A band or a ring in an alternative metal (any material except gold and platinum) cannot be adjusted. Therefore, if a band in an alternative metal is ordered with a custom engraving, the band is neither exchangeable nor refundable. If you are uncertain of the size at the time of order, please order the band without engraving. Upon receiving the band, you can then send us your order including the band to be exchanged, the appropriate size for the new band, and the desired engraving.

Return shipping costs: Return shipping costs are at your expense. Since the jewelry is in your possession, you are responsible for it until the products are delivered to our premises.

As a sharing of experience and advice, we only send our jewelry with a signature required upon delivery.

We also ensure with the carrier that the package is adequately insured for the value of the item.

In the event of loss or theft of the package, we waive all liability, and no refund will be issued by us. In general, the basic insurance of carriers covers the majority of incidents.
